Seven Spots in Seven Days - River Arts District

Spot #2 : River Arts District

IT’S A VIBE! This is one of many reasons why Asheville, NC remains one of the most unique places to visit. From the working studios, galleries of hundreds of artists – painting, pottery, jewelry, glass, metal, wood, and much more. Asheville’s dedication to the arts is quite impressive.

Did you know that the very first studio stroll was in 1994, when the few artists in the district opened their doors to the public? The studio stroll remains the largest annual River Arts District event today. Minutes from downtown, Biltmore Village, and even the Parkway, the River Arts District makes for the perfect location for a day trip.

While visiting the River Arts District, make sure to visit one of the restaurants, cafes, and several breweries. Don’t forget your picture by the iconic “Stay Weird” sign like we did.
